My siblings and I are helping my recently widowed Mother sell items from her extensive art pottery and glassware collection to supplement her retirement income. She and my lateFather have been collecting for over 50 years. Up for auction is a gorgeous Fenton folded fairy lamp case in a stunning red carnival stretchglass. The top of is adorned with a hand painted grape design circling the piece. The glassis a deep rich burgundy red which shines beautifully in the light. The stretching of the glassshows most evident on the folds of the base and adds a nice touch of elegance. The piece isin excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures about 7 inches tall and 4.75 inchesacross the folded base. Measured diagonally across the folds is about 7 inches. The baseportion measures about 3 inches in height, and the top is about 4 inches in height. Just a beautifulpiece which would be lovely when lit from within.
