Welcome! Offered today is a rarely seen Rosalene 5-piece epergne from the 1989 Connoisseur Collection! This epergne is approx. 13" high. The bowl is approx. 11-1/2" wide and stands 4" high. Rosalene is a heat-sensitive glass and when re-heated, the pink colors show through. These are rarely seen epergnes. To my knowledge, Fenton never made any other epergnes in Rosalene. This will be a treasure for the Rosalene or epergne collector. The Connoisseur Collection consists of unique items and special treatment glass that require special skills. It showcases the Fenton glassworkers' talents. Most of them are typically offered as numbered, limited editions. But, James Measell says in his 80s Decade book to keep in mind that the actual quantity of items made and sold was often lower than the limits! No chips or cracks. Excellent, near mint condition. Fenton logo with an '8' inside oval on base and each of the horns. Also, as seen from the picture, this one is #135! Rosalene is a unique glassware that was re-created by Fenton chemist Charles Goe and Frank M. Fenton who worked on the color together.
