FentonVelva Blue StretchMiniature Rose BowlMade in 1981 and 1982 ONLYFirst of all, though this is called "stretch glass", I see nothing that to me resembles normal Fenton stretch glass. However, in the 1981/1982 catalog, it is combined in with the stretch glass so I guess something that Fenton did, must have made it to where they can call it that after all. This is the only catalog I can find this piece listed in, so I suspect that is the manufacturing dates also.It is a very cute piece, however. Standing only about a little less than 3 inches tall and being about 3-3/4 inches wide, it has a wonderful design molded into the piece....like a daisy flower, stem and leaves with a beaded line going up and down also. Is it a daisy? I don't know but it sure looks like one to me (not to be confused with Daisy and Fern however...totally different). It is perfect for a small cut flower to be put into...heck, probably why they called it a "Rose Bowl", ugh? haha. Well I am sure it can be used for other things too...like for small pieces of candy...a small votive (be careful however). The opening at to is only about 2-3/4" wide. I see no chips, cracks or repairs, but this has been previously owned and used and should be considered as such when buying it.The shipping and handling charge will be FREE for Continental USA shipping addresses only. read more
