Badlands Guitars Ltd - Brighton Fernandes Ravelle elite Wow.....just WOW what else is there to say!! If you are in the market for a serious top end guitar this is well worth a look, with a great history Fernandes have been building fine guitars since the 70's. This is a rival to any Les Paul with attention to detail and top quality materials throughout the build. From the locking Grover tuners to the gold plated tailpiece everything is top notch, the top is a quilted maple finished in a rich trans wine red, adorned with abalone binding to body which continues to the neck and headstock. It is of course a set neck construction, and is loaded with a Seymour Duncan humbucker in at the bridge and the fabulous Fernandes sustainer pickup in the neck position. If you are not familiar with this system you have a treat in store! When switched on the sustainer will hold any note, or chord played, indefinitely. Then at a flick of the second mini switch the sustained note rings out as a harmonic...again indefinitely! This is a powerful device to have in your arsenal along with your pedals. As you can see these come with a very nice fitted Fernandes hard case. These really are a quality instrument, extremely playable very les paul-esque in the tone department, you can't go wrong! These retail at £995, and this is a brand new guitar as selling in our Brighton showroom. It goes here on a no reserve auction, but if you can't stand the worry there is a buy it now of £699.
