Scale: HO Manufacturer: Athearn Genesis Item Number: G66077 Condition: Mint Box Condition: Original and in Like New condition but price markings on the side of box with either price-tag label and/or ink pen and/or marker pen Description: HO Athearn Genesis Ferrocarril Nacionales de Mexico MP15-AC with loco #9813. This unit is mint and un-tested and winning bidder may request a test-run prior to shipment but not to worry...the unit is fully guaranteed. We did test-run one of these Genesis engines (pictured above) and the reults are as follows: The test-run was most impressive with a super-smooth drive and this is probably the quietest loco I have ever heard...or should I say...not heard. You will not be disappointed with this Genesis motor/drive and this is probably , one of the best performing engines with a super-smooth crawl speed. This is one truly awesome loco with a hugh array of separately applied details such as see-thru steps and vents, separately applied grabs, air lines and hoses (MU and/or air). We have 3 of these highly detailed locos...all with different road numbers. This auction is for the above mentioned item and road number, photos may show a different road number. Inspection & Grading: Our definition of Mint Condition is that the last person to have touched the model was a factory worker where the model was produced. We are inspecting the models for the following: Has the package or box been opened? By checking the end flaps and interlocking inserts (if applicable), we can see if the package has been opened. Has the model been touched? Finger prints show up well on the glazing and flat finsih. We also inspect for wheel wear, dust, dirt, fibers, pet hair and anything else...and doing so without touching the model. If the model can pass-the-test, it will be graded as a mint model and not test-run. If not, the item will be test run and the condition would be Like-New Condition. Excellent Condition is very slight wear, very minor blemishes and/or slight dust/dirt. Very Good Condition...a lot of use and/or wear but still looking very good. Good Condition: It still runs but heavy use and/or heavy wear. Fair/Poor looks like junk and would be best suited for parts or restoration and may or may not run. read more
