Thisauction is for one vintage Fi-Cord tape recorder. Cosmetically, it is in very nice condition. When it comes to it's operation, I am unsure exactly how to catagorize it. When you put batteries in it, nothing happens. When you push the battery holder it, a light comes on under the plastic. Holding the battery holder in slightly while pushing the buttons gets a little noise, but beyind that, nothing. My asessment is that where the battery tray contacts the unit needs some adjusting and the belts inside the unit are rotten. I saw no evidence of battery leakage.
