Field Marshall Hindenburg-Pickelhaube+Baton+Sword-Lineol-Elastolin-Hausser Original Prewar Composition Figure by Lineol. There are ankle and boot cracks with a very thin partial crack to the back of the neck.No apparent wear that you can see.Excellent face,paint quality and great uniform detail.The figure is all original and has that "old store stock" look.The cracks are the only negative.Overall in very good plus condition. Cat #5/3. 7.5 cm scale....Made from 1934-39... I have collected German Composition for about 25 years and these are my thoughts about buying AND selling these items on eBay.Stating that a figure is all original is meaningless unless it is examined under a black light.I check all my figures under a black light and tell you about touch-ups and repairs if any.Also,in most cases,I have the same figure in my collection for further comparison.The term "good condition for it's age" doesn't really tell you the condition that the figure is in and is an excuse of sorts for selling a figure with excess paint loss/damage.These figures hold up amazing well and only if played with a lot or stored under conditions of extreme heat,cold/dampness do they exhibit bad paint and/or damage.Some stress cracks, however,can be expected around the ankles and neck area.I clearly describe what I sell and don't make up excuses.I also allow returns on what I sell.Just tell me why you don't care for what you bought and you can return it.I myself avoid sales where the item that is sold can not be returned.In all my years of buying soldiers from dealers both here and in Germany,I never encountered one who would not allow returns."As is" or no returns is used at live auctions where you can see and touch an item in person.Always looking to BUY composition figures and equipment by Hausser(Elastolin) and Lineol.....Thanks for you interest....... A 7.5 cm(3 inches) marching figure would be 1/24 th scale.A six foot individual would be 3 inches.Since the base is included in the 7.5 cm,this would make a figure about 5'8' and the scale 1/26 th. German Composition is considered to be 1/26 th scale. I normally insure an item that is above $100.If you don't want Insurance just let me know.I will,however, add a Delivery Confirmation to the package.On figures that are quite reasonable like under $100,I just charge a flat fee of $4.00 for First Class Delivery with a Delivery Comfirmation.I add no charges like "handling fees"...Thank you Delivery Confirmation is required.(Paypal does not reimburse sellers for lost packages unless Insurance or Delivery Confirmation is used).I combine multiple purchases to save on mailing costs.On low cost items(under appx $100),I will mail the item First Class Mail with a Delivery Confirmation for $4.00).Payment is due within 10 business days of the end of the listing.If you find that I have misrepresented anything,you may return the item(s) within 7 days for a refund not to include postage.I will add Insurance to all items with a value of $100 and above unless the buyer states he wishes to decline Insurance.I am an experienced collector/seller of German Composition.I buy most of my figures in Germany at Toy Shows and Auctions.I try to find the best quality pieces available.I don't use hype or make unwarranted claims of rarity.All figures are descibed accurately and the photos show both sides of the figures.Additional photos are available for political figures.I black light all figures and and any touch-ups/repairs are noted.I grade items as Excellent,Very Good and Average with half grades above and below.If you need additional information,please contact me before you bid.I will also gladly answer any question that you might have about Composition or other listings.
