Up for consideration is this set of two Fiesta Ware 9" Plates. Colors are Chartreuse and Forest Green. These plates more closely measure 9 1/2" across and the line was produced from 1936-1969. These two plates are in real good condition with no chips, cracks or flaws. The Forest plate is showing some general wear. Two great pieces for your collection in beautiful colors! Fiesta Ware, in general; The Food and Drug Administration had previously determined (in the late 1950s) that daily use of vintage dinnerware does not pose a hazard (concern due to heavy metal content in glazes) as long as glazes and decals were properly applied. To be on the safe side, avoid storing food on vintage pieces and do not use in microwave ovens. Our store is located in Portage, IN. It is called The eState.
