You are bidding on one (1) vintage figural GoodYear Balloon knife by E. Bonsmann. Solingen, Germany. E. Bonsmann was in business between 1861 & 1920. Stamped on handle "All Weather GoodYear Balloon," and it is repeated on the other side.The handle is made of a silver like metal, most likely nickel or stainless steel not sure of the handle material. It is shaped like a balloon or tire. T is a symbol on the small blade it appears to be shield with three arrows pointing down. Knife has been carried and shows wear. The blades have been sharpened. Both blades snap well. T is minor nick on the larger blade. (See photograph) Stamp on main blade states: "E. Bonsmann Solingen, Germany." I am not a knife collector. However, I am responsible for disposing of a large estate from a long time collector. I will be placing several items on Ebay over the next few months due to the size of the collection. The collection includes vintage military knifes, pocket knifes, figural knives, and much more.
