These are a very nice pair of highly figured walnut Art Deco bedside cabinets, chests, or bedside tables that date to around the 1930s. These lovely pair of cabinets have the most wonderful highly figured walnut to the veneering, with a rich deep polished patina that just glows, please see photographs as these are a very good indication of just how nice this set of bedsides really are......you will not be disappointed!.......The bedsides have very good tops, no cup rings one very minor mark on one, below these lovely tops are three good deep drawers, with fine quality dovetail joints and the whole piece stands on small raised feet. The bedsides have slab sides again with good figuring to the walnut whilst to the inside side of the bedsides there is evidence of this pair having been converted from a dressing table at some time in the distant past, a section on the side being visible as to where the central section of the dressing table once was and a few very small screw holes from this convertion, and a very small piece of veneer missing please see photos of this inside side, easily noticeable but.......This is of no problem as these inside sections will stand up again your bed and therefore not be visible with the outside polished sides facing the room. ...so what you have today is a very nice pair of useful Art Deco bedside cabinets read more
