LOT 334 Seller's Estimate: USD 1,500 - 2,500 (FIJI--EARLY PHOTOGRAPHS.) An album containing 54 photographs, primarily around Valeci and Savu Savu, Fiji, 52 of which mounted on thick card. Oblong 4to, 240x310 mm, contemporary 1/4 black roan, contents loose in binding; images generally in good order, crisp with good contrast, a few of the mounts foxed. [Fiji, circa 1900] Subjects include: sugar cane plantations; native Fijians; ceremonies; colonists and their leisure activities; native and colonial buildings; landscapes. Payment: The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item. Details on accepted payment methods and where to send payment are provided in an invoice from the seller.
