Up for auction is this beautiful, 14" diameter serving bowl made by Nazari of Portugal. This piece is 10-15 years old and was made before Williams-Sonoma contracted with Nazari to create their 'Provence' pattern. The 'Provence' pattern is similar, but not as beautifully detailed as this bowl. The 'Provence' serving bowl, with a building as the focal-point and excluding much of the detailed hand-painting of this bowl, retails for $179. This rare-find bowl features a deer, bird, fox, rabbit, castle, flowers, trees, and other hand-painted detail similar to Ceramicas de Coimbra's 17th-century design pottery. The bowl is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or other signs of use. It is 2-5/8"deep. This is part of my personal Coimbra-style collection, but I must give it up to make room for other necessities. Feel free to ask any questions before you bid. No returns on this item.
