This auction is for a wonderful and early cold painted bronze most likely made in Vienna in the late 19th to early 20th century. The bronze depicts a large dog standing with a stick type object in his mouth. The detail in the work is exceptional as can be seen in the pictures and is signed on the bottom of the left front foot "MS". The bronze measures 5.25 inches in length and stands 3.4 inches tall. Condition of the bronze is excellent with the exception of usual very light wear to the paint as can be seen in the pictures.
