This is a superb Royal Crown Derby comport which I am advised dates circa 1880-90. I beleive this plate is decorated in the Imari pattern. The pattern is very beautiful with fine hand painted and hand gilded detail over. Royal Crown Derby backstamp to base. Very minor age rub to gilding in places but i can find no damage to this fine piece. It is in excellent condtion. A very fine and a beautiful early Royal Crown Derby comport. Measures some 5" high and a diameter across plate top of some 9".25. This piece is very collectable and will display superbly.
