FINE CLASSICAL ENGLISH STERLING SILVER TEA CADDY Presented is a great English sterling silver tea caddy by Lionel Alfred Crichton. The piece has a good classical form and is made in the 18th century style. The tea caddy is fully hallmarked on the reverse of the body and on the inside of the lid with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for London, the date letter O for 1929, and the maker's mark LAC for Lionel Alfred Crichton. Even the wing nut, which holds the finial, is hallmarked. The tea caddy is in super condition. T are no dents and no breaks. The hinge works well, and the lid closes tightly. T are no damages, no repairs, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no problems of any kind. The tea caddy is 4 1/2 inches tall. The base measures 4 1/4 by 2 3/4 inches. The weight is 266 grams, 8.5 troy ounces, or 9.3 ounces.
