ITEM Up for Auction & Your Consideration : Rare Solid Sterling Silver Whiskey Hip Flask . The flask has a nice curved design so it contours the body nicely as you can see. The Flask is also Solid Sterling Silver throughout which you do not see to often. The Flask does have some light marks throughout, and a small crack to the top lid, but I believe it would not be do hard to get restored if desired. The flask itself has no holes and does not leak. The flask has also never been monogrammed which is nice. The flask is a nice quality weight of 85 grams. The Flasks hallmarks are a little worn, but I can make out VictoriaÃ¢ÂeÂ(tm)s Head indicating the Flask is an authentic Victorian example, along with a partial date letter and Lion Passant Hallmark on the top of the flask. The flask does test to be solid Sterling Silver throughtout. I believe the flask would date to around the 1860Ã¢ÂeÂ(tm)s era. The Sterling Silver Whiskey Hip Flask measures 4 1/2 inches x 2 3/4 inches wide. Good Luck.
