This is a gorgeous hand painted porcelain figural group of three cherubs or putti sitting on a fence. Their faces are so sweet! T is an urn on the reticulated base under the cherub on the right, along with a bunch of grapes. T is also some applied foliage to the base. The cupid on the left is playing the violin, the middle guy is blowing a horn, and the one on the right is holding a large dish of grapes or some other round fruit. T faces are finely hand painted and my photos do not due them justice at all. They style looks Italian to me, although the only marks on the bottom are impressed numbers 8, then 9223 under that, then a 9 under that, and a hand painted 75 in red. I still think its most likely from Italy, possibly Germany. It displays beautifully, although t is damage, the cherubs on each end have lost wing, the center cherub has a chip on a wing and the toes of his left foot, and the bow of the violin is broken. It measures 6" high and 6" wide. Please see my other beautiful antique European figurines.
