Just out of an estate you are bidding on a fantastic Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos clock Model Caliber 540 SN 604286 SWISS MADE ,13 Jewels, Ca 1980-98.Excellent condition with just some very minor skuffs,minor scratches to the base and a couple of very tiny 1/3 matchhead size spots on the base by other than this no damage. BEAUTIFUL CLOCK, I DON'T THINK YOU WILL FIND A USED ONE IN ANY BETTER CONDITION THAN THIS ONE.The clock opens by pushing the center notch at the front glass and it comes out and you can set,level and adjust the clock. Gold plate finish, white face, and glass inserts in case. Hands are gold whith black ends so they show against the white face and gold numbers. I tested the clock for some days and it keeps good time and runs great as far as I can tell. I did not spend a lot of time leveling it so it ran best with the adjustment lever toward F. This model has the bubble level built in.Note.....I am as with most mecanical things selling it as is but I can find no problems with it and I feel based on my feedback you can trust this. For centuries, many scientist including Leonardo Da Vinci had experimented with the idea of Perpetual Motion - however, only J.L. Reutter eventually succeeded at incorporating that novel idea into an actual working clock. Through out his life, J.L.
