For sale is a better 18th c cow horn cup then I have seen in awhile. It has wonderful patina and is a larger size than usual, approx.5 inches tall and 2 and 5/8 inches at widest. Also it is carved from just one piece of horn, usually the bottoms are applied. Inside t are two neatly carved concentric lines. I can only guess for measurement purposes. The cup has very minor worm damage, really not worth mentioning, as well as imperfections in the horn itself. On one side, right w the side meets the bottom and a little on the bottom is splitting/ peeling from age. Still, its a great cup at good price for your Rev War, etc. collections.
