Published in Cologne by Peter Keschedt, the plates were first used in the 1597 version, also by Keschedt, & are closely based on those of Girolamo Porro in the Magini version of Ptolemyâe(tm)s âeoeGeographiaâe. This is a fine engraving & measures 17cms x 13cms. Crete is also included. We have been selling antique maps for over thirty years.
