Published in Cologne by Peter Keschedt, the plates were first used in the 1597 version, also by Keschedt, & are closely based on those of Girolamo Porro in the Magini version of Ptolemyâe(tm)s âeoeGeographiaâe. This is a fine engraving & measures 17cms x 13cms. Crete is also included. We have been selling antique maps for over thirty years. The company was founded in 1947 & has handled antique maps since 1972. We only handle antique maps and do not trade in reproductions. We can take most of the usual credit cards. In addition to the numbers & expiry date we now also need the security code which is the 3 digit number on the reverse of the card w the signature strip is. For security you could send the numbers in 2 emails. Shipping to Europe would be $10, to the UK $8, elsew $12.
