Here we have a very rare Finnish M/27 Civil guards light weight summer cap in excellent condition. Cap has no holes or rips, liner is very nice. there are no markings inside the cap. I found a picture and discription of this cap in a Finnish book called "SUOJELUSKUNTAPUVUT" . It states that this type of cap is from 1925 summer uniform. It is very much the same as an M/22 cap. This is the only one of these I have ever seen, so I have nothing to compare it to, not sure if it is supposed to have a sweet band but there is no evidence that it ever had one. You will not be disapointed in its condition and you will probably never see another. Thanks for looking. Finnish WW2
