Hello and Thank You for browsing our store! Up for sale is a rare Fire King 1 1/2 Quart Casserole Dish in the Swiss Alpine Pattern. FireKing began making this pattern and named it Swiss Alpine. It was made to exactly match the Swiss Chalet Dinnerware produced by Marcrest in the same time, the 1950's. A maker named Stetson produced a similar but not exact pattern, and it was called Swiss Chalet as well. In the Stetson version, the background was a dark ivory, as opposed to the white background, produced in the USA by Marcrest. This dish is in mint condition, t are no chips, cracks, or crazing, and it still has its original lid. If you are searching for similar pieces, we have pieces available in both the Marcrest Swiss Chalet and Stetson Swiss Chalet versions in our store.
