My husband, being a 25 year retired fireman from the East Coast collects anything, and everything that has to do with fire departments around the country. Somew along the line he came across these Fireman's Ball Ribbons from Stromsburg, Nebraska. He has had them for quite some time in display cases along with hundreds of others. He recently started to downsize some of his collection from which these particular ribbons were a part of. They are in pretty good shape having been kept flat in the display case for as long as he has had them, although they do suffer from some frayed edges,, and the pins that were on the top of the ribbons are missing, which he says were never t since he has had them. The first ribbon says "Stromburg Fireman's Annual New Years Ball, January 1, 1906" the second one reads "Stromburg Fireman's Annual Dance, Opera House, New Years Night 1909", the third reads "Stromburg Fireman's Annual Ball, Opera House, January 1, 1915", and the last one reads "Stromburg Fireman's Annual Ball, Opera House, January 1st, 1914". They are each a different color. Three of them are 7" long, while one is 5" long. Buyer to pay priority shipping with insurance suggested. Payment within 7 days of close of auction or item may be re-listed. Thanks for looking.
