Wow, This is a large and colorful plate commemorating the 10th anniverary of the first Firestone tire produced at the Wilson, North Carolina manufacturing plant in Eastern North Carolina. The plate measures 10 1/4 inches and depicts scenes of the tire making process. The center of the plate shows a picture of the plant and the sign saying Firestone, Wilson, N.C. home of the 721. T is a gold edge around the rim of the plate. The back of the plate says Firestone Tire and Rubber Company Wilson, N.C. On March 1, 1974, the first Firestone tire was produced at our Wilson plant. Since that time, our loyal employees have manufactured millions of tires for automobile makers and the replacement market. Congratulations to each employee, on this our tenth anniversary, for an outstanding performance in the production of high quality Firestone tires. The top of the back of the plate says Fine Porcelain Worldwide Line Sample. Evidently this was the saleman's sample plate and would date to around 1984. The plate is in excellent condition. It has no chips, cracks, nicks, or hairlines. You can't go wrong with this nice plate. I guarantee it exactly as pictured and described or your money back. I accept checks, money orders, and PayPal. I charge no handling fees. You will pay the exact shipping cost for priority mail through the U.S. Post Office.
