Rare First Edition copy of this seminal work of economic sociology by celebrated sociologist and social philosopher Georg Simmel. It is considered to be one of Simmel's finest works. This is a beautiful hardcover First Edition and would make an excellent gift. Half leather decorative cover, gilt decorated spine with some bumping at edges. Cover has some scratching/damage. Unidentified signature on front endpaper. Binding is tight. Text is clear and bright througout, text block is near fine and appears to be unread.
