A lovely set eight silver plated fish knives and forks. The plating is in overall good condition, with surface wear commensurate with age and use. The handles are in good condition with the exception of one fork which has a small crack and a loose ferrule. The knives are stamped Mappin & Webb Princes Plate and the registration No. Rd 71552 which dates the design to 1887. Forks measures 19.5 cm in length and knives 23 cm in length. A heavy item, unpacked weight 850 grams which is reflected in the postage.
