These are natural fossils from the Green River Formation. You are buying all sixteen fossils. One slab has about four fossils on it. The fossils were found at the Fossil Lake location located in the south western part of Wyoming. There are three different species of fossil fish in this bunch. There are a few on the bottom that are called "Diplomystus dentatus". The large one on the right side is called "Knightia alta". All of the rest are called "Knightia eoceana". All these fossils have nice bone structure and nice color. The fossils measure between 2 and 4-1/2 inches long and all of the slabs are irregular. There are some whole fish in there. These fossils date back to the Eocene Period over 50 million years ago. Thank You for looking and I will combine shipping to save you money! Please check out my other items for sale!
