This is a new, very nice, sturdy, well made piece of art which is made into a night light. It comes in a nice see thru box (see pics) for easy wrapping if a gift. It is 3" tall and 5" wide. The plug is 1 1/2" (and is a swivel plug which will adapt to horizontal or vertical outlet) This is not CHEAP LOOKING !!! With the box and my extra packing is really don't think you need ins. but it's your call. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this piece and will make a lovely gift for someone or yourself !!! I also have nightlights of this type in crab, cat, sea turtle, frog, butterfly, and hummingbird if interested. Will combine multiple items to save you on postage. Send back in 7 days if not satisfied (at your expense.)
