I have been painting the new england landscape for over 25 years. While studying in New York in the early 90's at the School Of Visual Arts & The Art Students League I would spend my summers in Truro where I have completed some of my finest work. The light there is very special and has been a constant source of inspiration for me. I have shown at Robert Cardinals Gallery The Kiley Court in Provincetown plus many other well known spaces. My work has won many awards including a second placing from the prestigious Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society judged by the finest painter of our time Don Stone. I have painted Plein Air since 1989 and it is my chosen way to approach my image making process. There is something special about a painting done directly from life it has a sole to it that is hard to capture from a studio chair. This image ''Fisherman's Wharf '' is a powerful artistic statement created as an installation by Provincetown artists Ewa Nogiec and Norma Holt. The artwork on the side of the building is called ''They Also Faced The Sea'' and is a tribute to the history of the Portuguese fisherman who till this day risk their lives on the ocean. This fish house has been painted many times by artists and is a Provincetown icon. My chosen medium is Oil and my work can be viewed at . I offer my Acrylics exclusively on Ebay and read more
