This is the large plate/platter that matches the smaller canape plates I currently have listed in a seperate auction. This is a single large platter as shown on the left side of the photo. The small plate is just to show you a size comparison. (I have quite a little grouping of plates - again the smaller plates are in available in a seperate auction.) I will also be listing some very similar mugs/tankards that would be a beautiful way to serve on Christmas Eve! I would love for them to stay together but that is up to you bidders. You can buy a few or a few more! The platter is in very good condition however I do not have the original box. The plate is approximately 11" wide and 13" tall. See my other listing for the other items.
I guarantee the authenticity because I bought all my pieces at a Fitz and Floyd store in Dallas along with many others that will be listed over the next few days. (Helping my Mom downsize inspired me to begin as well! My moment of insanity is your opportunity to add to or begin a collection of beautiful Fitz and Floyd pieces. After the Christmas season I will begin listing other F&F items that span the seasons.)
The bottom of the platter has the incised date of 1993 and the OCI. According to the rep at Fitz & Floyd, this piece is now retired but remains highly sought after by collectors.
The winning bidder needs to complete the transaction within 7 calendar days. I accept PayPal to confirmed addresses, personal checks, cashiers checks or money orders only. All sales are final. I will ship the item via US Mail unless otherwise requested and insurance is mandatory. (These are fragile items and once they leave my hands the insurance will protect us both -- trust me.) All shipping costs are at the buyers expense.
Please check out my other auctions as more items will be posted over the next several days. And thanks for looking!
PLEASE NOTE: I will not be able to ship anything between 12/20 and 12/28. Any payments received on or prior to that date will have the items mailed out. I highly recommend PAYPAY as a payment method to ensure your package gets to you by Christmas. If not you will have a beautiful piece to use next year!
