Back at the turn of this century, I happened into an upscale home goods place here in Sacramento called William Glen. Directly inside the door in the middle of the aisle was an amazing display of the ceramic Fitz and Floyd Exotic Jungle line ... and I was smitten. What a lush tropical fantastical colorful extravagant thing to see! And it didn't hurt that I love cats. Could I have one of everything please? Hah. One look at their retail price stickers shocked me right back into reality. I left the store empty-handed and blue. But I did not forget. I got this reclining tiger with lid, the vase and the bookends on eBay in 2003. I have relished their considerable delightful contribution to visual beauty ambiance of my home ever since. However, the time has come to slim down so I'm putting all three back on the Bay. This listing is for the Reclining Tiger only. The base is 9 3/4" from the tip of the claw to where the tail comes off the body, it is apx. 5" wide and 5" up to the tip of the ear. The figure is in perfect as-new condition. No detriments, issues, chips, cracks, repairs or bad mo-jo. All good. It was a treasured decorative display, never used to contain anything and always handled with care. I did glue some white felt to the bottom to protect a surface but the glue is water-based and can easily be removed. You can see the edge
