Offering In Flanders Fields and Other Poems by Lieut. Col. John McCrae, M.D. with An Essay in Character by Sir Andrew Macpbatl. Illustrated. G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York and London, The Knickerbocker Press, 1919. I didn't realize what a nice find I had until I got home from the estate sale and discovered that this book was signed by the author's brother, probably as a presentation piece. The author of the most famous poem about WWI died before the book was published. Pieces of the dj remain and I will send them with the book although they are basically useless; however, they did help protect the book. The book is in Good Condition. There is very, very minor bumping to the corners, some minor discoloration on the end pieces. The spine is cracked, making the first couple of pages lose. The little book measures approximately7 3/4 by 5 1/2 inches and contains 141 pages.
