Up for auction is this collection of 3 (three) used MAGNUS AASE/BRØDRENE MYLIUS/OGN NORWEGIAN STERLING SILVER FLATWARE PIECES IN THE FLAT ROSE PATTERN. The set consists of the following pieces: (1) Ladle 7 ½ inches long weighing 58 grams. The bowl is 1 7/8 X 2 ¼ inches and 5/8 inches deep. No monograms. The hallmark is "MADE IN NORWAY (Bird)(Mark for Mylius) 830S". T are some small discolored spots in the bowl. The maker is Brødrene Mylius. (1) Pickle Fork measuring 5 inches long and & weighing 13 grams. No monogram. The Hallmark is 830S, Sideways MA (mark of Magnus Aase) and appears to be SOLMUND FRENG engraved. (2) Demitasse Spoon measuring 4 7/8 inches long and weighing 14.8 grams. It's on the front top "Elenor" and back top "Fra Bestemor 1920". The Hallmark is OGN 830S The individual pieces are in very good condition (normal use some scratches) with no damage, no dents, no dings, and no repairs but need polishing. The beautiful pattern is "FLAT ROSE" and is common to every piece. I believe the Flat Rose pattern was used primarily during 1912-1935. These pieces will be a great addition for anyone who has a collection of "FLAT ROSE" flatware or for someone that will like to begin a collection of "FLAT ROSE" flatware.
