See photo for exact item you will receive. This is a visor housing for the Air Force Demonstration Team the Thunderbirds. Visor is painted red with white vinyl markings. (markings are not painted on or clearcoated over) Visor does not come with the necessary hardware for mounting to a flight helmet. I received this visor several years ago and do not know any details of its history. The markings on this visor are for the #5 pilot named Todd Canterbury - callsign "Tales". Todd Canterbury has an unusal story with the Team as his Dad, Henry Canterbury, was also a Thunderbird pilot. As you can see, the #5 on the visor is upside down in the traditional t-bird lead solo style that has become their trademark. The markings have some slight "scuffing" that I tried to capture in the photos - they were already on the visor when I obtained it.
