IT IS OLDER THAN I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT.

THIS IS A VERY OLD AND UNIQUE TABLE ...ONE OF A KIND...I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE ANYW

BLACK MARBLE TOP IT HAS A CRACK THAT CANNOT BE SEEN.

AN ORIGINAL THAT NEEDS TO BE APPRECIATED.

NEVER RESTORED OR TOUCHED UP

THE MARBLE MEASURES 24 1/2" BY 12 1/2.

THE TABLE STANDS 24" HIGH AND THE FRAME THAT HOLDS THE MARBLE SLAB IS 1 1/2 INCHES LARGER THAN THE MARBLE SLAB.

NO RESTORATION HAS BEEN DONE TO THIS PIECE. IT IS IN ORIGNAL CONDITION AND COULD NEED SOME CLEAN UP.

THE WOOD IS DARK AND SOFT.

THE PATINA IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE TABLE IS VERY HEAVY.

FLINT & HORNER WAS ACTUALLY FOUNDED IN 1840 A VICTORIAN TABLE IS FOR SALE AT A WELL KNOWN ANTIQUE DEALER THIS IS THE CURRENT INFORMATION FOR THAT LISTING.

Description: Gorgeous marquetry late Victorian mahogany table with lovely turtle shaped top and serpentine shaped sides made by "Flint & Horner, NYC." The top and skirt feature extensive floral inlay with mother-of-pearl accents. The graceful cabriole legs have fancy brass appliqué at the top and bottom. T is also a band of brass beading running around the top. T is an original label on the bottom.
