Up for auction is a set of animator's model sheets from Hanna-Barbera's classic 1977 NBC prime time special, "A Flintstones Christmas." (Model Sheets are the reference guides that animators used to keep the look of the characters consistent. They contain various views and/or expressions to help the animators draw the characters. ) This is one of several "Flintstones" themed model packs I have for auction this week. Purchase more than one and combined shipping is available. About The Special: A Flintstones Christmas wasa 60-minute TV special which aired on NBC on December 7, 1977. It wasthe first time Henry Cordon voiced the role of Fred Flintstone after Alan Reed passed away. On Christmas Eve, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble save Christmas for children all over the world by taking Santa Claus' place when he sprains his ankle delivering presents at the Flintstones' house. Santa teaches them all they need to know and they do a great job, but Fred is late for a Christmas party hosted by his boss Mr. Slate and he could lose his job.
