Super Rare "Flipper" Riding Toy. One of the hardest to find Classic TV toys. Flipper (everyone's favorite dolphin) aired on NBC from 1964 to 1967. The popular show was produced by Metro Goldwyn Mayer This Flipper Riding Toy was produced in 1965. It is huge! It is more than 2 feet long! It 28 inches long and 13 inches high. You can see how large it is by looking at the B/W photo here. This is a photo of ME holding Flipper. This photo was taken in 1966. How rare is this toy? Unfortunately I lost my Flipper by 1970. Once I was grown I began searching for another. I quickly found out that even finding a photo of Flipper was not easy. But after years of looking, I found this one...in Japan! More than 20 years ago I paid $225 for it, plus shipping! And I have never seen another. The Flipper "Dolphin noise" on this toy is still in PERFECT and very loud condition. As you move Flipper, it This item is in VERY GOOD condition. It is missing the right eye sticker. The left eye sticker may come off during shipping, but the toy is in great shape even without the stickers, and they could be easily replaced. Manufacturer info on bottom says "Flipper 1965 T.M. ITFINC MGMINC I truly hate to see Flipper swim away...and the buyer will have a treasure.
