A highly decorated hand painted dresden bowl measuring 58 cm in circumference. It has some damage to a couple of its flowers as can be seen in the photo, but is in otherwise good condition. I had it valued by a professional evaluator, and he told me it was german dresden from one of the lesser Dresden factories, probably from the Sitzendorf factory, although I cannot find the mark on the back of the bowl to match any of his. Although the backstamp is marked 1815, it is much later than that. The factory was opened on that date. I have since located other pieces with the same backstamp, and I got it wrong. The valuer said "schierholz", not Sitzendorf.
