Floral, "Poinsettia" Relish ~~~~~~~~ This beautiful green Depression Glass relish dish features the Floral, or also referred to as the "Poinsettia", pattern. Made by the Jeannette Glass Company from 1931 through 1935. Floral continues to be one of the most popular Depression Glass patterns. Has paneled sides with motif of leaf like flowers. One large flower adorns the bottom of each section. This flower is referred to as "Poinsettia" by many collectors since the beginning; however, the flower is actually a Passion Flower, "Passiflora". This 2-part relish dish is oval in shape with closed handles. Measures 8 1/4 inches long, 5 inches wide and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The color - it almost glows without a blacklight! In mint condition, t are no cracks, chips, nicks or fleabites. Eliminating the fear of reproduction, the salt and pepper shakers are the only pieces of Floral known to have been reproduced. So, you are able to bid with confidence ~ this is no reproduction!
