This charming print of Florida is from a rare children’s book, circa late 1940s. It depicts a not so charming subject-- a hurricane-- in a whimsical fashion. Orange and purple skies, bent palm trees, and animals and telephone poles flying through the air.This color print is on thick pebbled papers with wonderful color. The color is actually richer and deeper than my scan shows. It has text on the back, but the text is not visible through paper. The page has a slight creamy tone from age. The page measures approx. 9.25x11 inches, and the actual image area is about 7.75x8.5inches (19.5x21.5 cm).This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item. All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and packed flat with heavy cardboard or rolled in a sturdy tube.
