Beautiful, flow blue oval covered vegetable bowl or tureen in the Waldorf pattern by New Wharf Pottery. The bowl measures approximately 12" long from handle to handle and about 6" high from the table to the top of the finial. This piece is in very nice overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The blue is deep, and the glaze is high and glossy. The gold appears to be sponged on the lid and handles and is intact and very nice. T are three stilt marks which are in the making in the interior of the bowl. The New Wharf pottery mark appears in blue on the reverse. Nice, rare piece in wonderful original condition!
