This gorgeous quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted by my grandmother, Mary Ann Pratt, of the Poplar Bluff, Missouri area. The quilt measures 80" wide by 89" long and would be perfect for a full bed. T is a rod pocket along the back of the top of the quilt if you prefer to display it on a wall. The quilt is backed with a tan cotton fabric and is quilted using a lightweight batting. Each hexagon shaped piece measures 2". This quilt features a brown basket full of colorful flowers on a tan background. A floral border frames this beautiful quilt. Each hexagon was hand pieced and hand quilted. My grandmother even took the time to quilt using brown thread on the brown pieces and tan thread on the tan pieces. Imagine the time she spent hand stitching this entire quilt! Amazing detail went into the cutting, piecing, and stitching of this quilt - just see for yourself. My grandmother's quilting talent was amazing.
