Up for bid is a Beautiful Fluted Clovis - Flint Ridge Flint - Authentic Paleo Indian Artifact - COA. This Beautiful Fluted Clovis was found in Wood County, West Virginia and is a real handful at 4 7/16" long! It is made from a beautiful Reddish and Cream Chert that I would say is Flint Ridge Flint. This amazing Clovis has small flutes on both sides with nicely ground hafting area and base. It displays superior quality workmanship and is in perfect condition. This Clovis has good patina and mineral deposits and is a no brainer as to authenticity. It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Ken Partain. I prefer that if you are not satisified with Ken Partain's COA that you pass on this Clovis. I see too many Authenticators "killing" good Paleo Artifacts because they are afraid of all the fakes on the market. I don't want someone to buy it then send it for another authenticator to "kill" it. Partain is a respected authenticator so I expect this Clovis to stand on his COA. Please take time to read Partain's Comments on the COA for additional information on this Top Shelf Clovis. This is a Highly Collectable Paleo Clovis that is 11,000 to 15,000 years old. This is Definitely a Collector Grade Indian Artifact. Don't miss this Centerpiece! I'll start the bid low with no reserve.
