Hi And Welcome to my Auction~~Today I have here a Really Gorgeous and Visual " Rare Flying Geese Quilt ' Just Beautiful Pink With Dots & Stripes Shirting Prints on all the Flying Geese Triangles and the back as well as the Front is a White Cotton Fabric ~ With Amazing Tiny Quilting Stitches 12 to 14 teeny tiny Stitches to the inch~~This Quilt is All hand Pieced Hand Stitched the Applied Binding is all hand stitched closed both sides I do not see where a Sewing Machine ever touched this Quilt ~~~The Workamnship and Quilting is Superb~~This Quilt is Near Pristine Condition it has a few small repairs ~No Holes No Glaring Stains It has a couple light marks but I think that was from the Quilt Drying and may have rubbed our deck from the wind~ Truly Just a Really Visually Stunning Quilt and Very Expertly Executed ~~ This Quilt is Amazing !!~ This Quilt Dates Approx 1880's to early 1900's ~~ I Gave This Quilt a Gentle Quilt Bath and it was laid out to Dry in a Farm Fresh Country Air~ ~ It is a Nice thin Quilt but it is pretty large so it has a nice weight to it but Not heavy Perfect for Spring ,Summer, or a Fall weight Quilt ~ ~ This Quilt would have been made By a Master Quilter the Piecing Is Excellent and Stitching Excellent ~~ This is Truly A Master Piece Of Folk Art ~~ ~This quilt was very well Executed by a very Talented Quilter ~ This is a Stunning Quilt it is all Hand Quilted with approx 12 to 14 Teeny Tiny stitches to the inch ~ This quilt has been quilted by what I call a 1 quilter as there are not much in the way of Variances in the stitches ~~~Just a Fabulous Visual Antique Quilt ~~ This Quilt was beautifully Executed ~And Expertly Master Quilted ~ The Lucky Winner is going to be Thrilled with this Beautiful Charming Antique Folk Art Quilt from the 1800's ~~With its Gorgeous Colors And Stunning Design Please Remember This Is Not a New Quilt and Part of the Charm is That it is a Primitive Folk Art Quilt ~That has given Great Joy and Service for approx 100 Plus years and it Still has a Lot of Life Left to give another " Quilt Keeper " many Many More years of Joy ~ So if you are Looking for a Perfect Quilt please this is not it this is a Antique American Folk Art Quilt It is not new ~So In Perspective this Quilt has held up very well for being well over 100 years old and it is Just as Charming as can be ~~~ ~~This will be a great addition to your Collection this quilt as a lot of Personality ~~And makes an excellent Visual Display Quilt ~ It is all Cotton Fabric Quilt ~~This Quilt is a Very well Executed Quilt ~~ You Will Love it ~~it is Stunning !!!
