FM Converter 9-1047A, Meissner Mfg. Div., Maguire Industries, Inc. (IL) This 1941 FM Converter Model #9-1047A was an early FM converter for the AM Radios of the day, it ran off AC and converted 41.2Mhz thru 50.4 Mhz, the FM band back then. It is an interesting piece of History and displays well, it is missing the on-off dial and I have highlighted one flaw in the veneer in the images, but overall it is in very good shape, it does not look to have been modified and looks to be all there, the cord is badly cracked so if you plan on turning it on that needs to be replaced. I have not tested it.Please see images!
