I'm guessing that this vintage ship's fog horn dates from around the turn of the century. Could be earlier, but I'm not sure. Piece measures 21.5"x8"x15". It works simply by vigorously turning the crank...and it's REALLY loud! Black parts are wood, front horn looks like brass; handle is leather, but definitely not original to the piece. The wood is banged up a bit and w the handle turns you can see it has made a groove into the side. Other than that, not really sure how to describe the condition. Great piece of vintage maritime!
