In 1946 Ford Motor Company Limited commissioned Terence Cuneo to record on canvas 6 images featuring post war Dagenham vehicle production. Four of these are available as quality prints. Print 'B' – “FINAL ASSEMBLY” - November 1946 , numbered limited edition - 322 / 1200 Featuring the Fordson Major E27N tractor that first rolled off the line on March 19 1945 from “B” building at Dagenham. In 1946 the Land Utility model with rubber tyres was introduced at a cost of £296. In February 1948 the Perkins P6 diesel engine became available for the E27N tractor and it developed 45 horsepower at a starting cost of £595. Over 230,000 Fordson E27N Majors were produced up to the very last model on January 17 1952. These unique pictures are available as high quality prints, ready for framing – overall size approximately 16.5” x19” including 1.5” white border. Postage cost includes secure packaging in a large 9cm diameter tube thus avoiding any possible damage to the print by tight rolling.
