Fosgate Audionics M-60 Mk II Mono power amplifiers 40 Watt US-built mono amplifier with level control Up for auction today is a pair of great sounding US-built amplifiers from Fosgate Audionics. This is from the last independent generation of the company before they were swallowed up by Harman International to create what became the Citation line of surround electronics. (1990 vintage These compact amplifiers sound fantastic, and would be a great match for any quality bookshelf speaker in a small room or desktop audio system. I've used them for some time with a host of different speakers, including Realistic Minimus 7s, NHT Super Zeros, a/d/s L-300s, and have always been very pleased with the results. In a completely minimalist system you could connect these amplifiers directly to any analog source, and simply use their front panel gain controls to adjust volume. Their compact size (Just 8 3/4"W, 7"D, 3"H) makes them ideal for use in a desktop or bedroom audio system when space is at a premium. These amplifiers have been fully tested and are in good working order. Both play beautifully, and the volume controls have been freshly treated with Caig Deoxit and operate quietly and smoothly.
