UK Ammonite: Dactylioceras commune Lower Jurassic, Upper Lias. Age: 180 Million years old. A stunning 6.6cm example of the Ammonite Dactylioceras commune .The Ammonite comes with its negative cap, this allows you to key both sides back together, you can see what it looked like when I found it & reveal the beauty inside! Theres a natural vibrance from the original shell sections, the specimen is wonderfully detailed with well preserved ribs. Found on the Yorkshire Coast as an erratic nodule & expertly 3D prepared. Size of Ammonite: 6.6cm at its widest point. Size of matrix: 7cm x 5.5cm at its widest points. Weight: 250g. !
