This is a large Oligocene Merycoidodon Culbertsoni Oreodon Skull . It was found on private land in the Brule Formation, Oligocene (35,000,000) near Chadron Nebraska. The skull is about 8 " x 6 1/2" x 3 1//2". The skull has excellent preservation and has been professionally prepared with about 5% restoration. This is a killer skull and with excellent placement in the original matrix. We don't find many in this condition and with it's mouth wide open. I believe this to be a large female.
